(A 45-Vehicle Ambluance Service)
In June of 1997, USFT Founder Jerry Hunter accepts a position as IT Director at Metro EMS in Little Rock, Arkansas. During his time there, he comes to understand the technology utilized in 911 Emergency Dispatch centers, and immediately knows there's a better way.
City of Little Rock, Arkansas
USFT Founder Jerry Hunter accepts a position as a programmer, working in "special projects" at the City of Little Rock for the Little Rock Police Department. Among his projects there, Hunter produces a system which provides Live GPS Tracking service, NCIC inquiries, live streaming camera video from patrol vehicles, HD video recording to hard drive with automatic WiFi upload at precinct substations, NIBRS-compliant police reports, and silent dispatch functionality.
Jerry Hunter founds Pinnacle Labs Corp. in Little Rock, Arkansas. Pinnacle Labs' 911 Dispatch Systems, NCIC Gateways, and Mobile Data Systems (including GPS Tracking and In-Car Camera functionality) were deployed across the country, including City of Little Rock, City of North Little Rock, White County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas Highway Patrol, Conway Police Department, Russellville Police Department, Ruston (LA) Police Department, and Orleans Parish (LA) Sheriff's Office (among others).
Following the Google acquisition of Where2 in October 2004, Google Maps is launched on February 8, 2005 - and within a week, Jerry Hunter has his first transponder online and tracking on Google Maps.
The working title for the new product is "USFT" !
as the FIRST web-based GPS Tracking platform
Within weeks, Pinnacle Labs customers at Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Ruston Louisiana Police Department, White County (AR) Sheriff's Office, and Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office transition their Pinnacle Labs GPS Tracking devices to transmit to the new web-based USFT system.
In August of 2005, USFT officially launched as a multinational company. Working from the extra bedroom of his home, founder Jerry Hunter quickly set up private-label branding partners S&L Services and SpyAssociates to resell his products, with sales in both Canada and the United States.
With rapidly growing demand for USFT - and his daughter finishing high school and relocating to Oklahoma City to attend Oklahoma Christian University - USFT founder Jerry Hunter wraps up Pinnacle Labs operations in Arkansas, relocates to Oklahoma City, and re-registers USFT as an Oklahoma corporation.
Running on a single rack of 66 Verrari blades, the USFT servers are relocated to a two-room office in a building in Northwest Oklahoma City. Six months later, the company relocates to a larger 7-room office in a building less than a quarter mile away.
In the years since, USFT has covered the 2010 Pro Bowl, the 2011 NHL All-Star game, the 2010 Winter Olympics, the 2012 Summer Olympics, the 2012 Republican National Convention, and every Super Bowl since 2007.
After leasing four additional office suites within the building to accomodate our growing team, we've finally completed construction of our own 18,000sf office building! We moved in June First!
USFT continues its historically strong growth.
In 2022 alone, USFT servers processed over 4.871 Billion (with a B) packets of GPS data from our customers! That's over 405.9 Million GPS packets per month, 93.7 Million GPS packets per week, and more than 13.3 Million packets of GPS data PER DAY.
